St Leonard
The small chapel you see could have been constructed as a chantry chapel, a place specifically built for prayers for the soul of the benefactor. It is believed to have been erected in remembrance of Robert de Tattershall, who passed away in 1212. It is speculated that the effigy placed next to the altar is a representation of Robert himself.
