St Crida
The first historical mention of Creed's patron saint is found in 10th century records, where she is referred to as St. Crite. It is believed that she may have been a saint of Cornish origin. Furthermore, there are speculations that she could have been the daughter of a royal figure, possibly King Mark of Cornwall or a king from Ireland.
