St Charles RC Church
During the 1871 annual gathering of the Preston District Congregational Union, the need for a chapel in Grange over Sands was emphatically discussed. The Union acknowledged the importance of this project and, as a result, services were eventually initiated in a room at the Liberal Club in 1889. This was made possible due to a generous grant provided by the Union.
