St John the Baptist
The Church of St John the Baptist, a Church of England establishment, is situated within the Diocese of Winchester and is a member of the recently established Arle Valley Benefice. Since 1851, it has served as the Parish Church for New Alresford, although historical records from the Domesday Book indicate the presence of a church in this location shortly after the Norman Conquest. Prior to 1851, the church was part of the Parish of Old Alresford. Today, St John's continues to serve the entire Alresford community.
