St Benet Paul's Wharf
The current location has been home to a church dedicated to St. Benet, also known as Benedict, since the 12th century. This historical site has been mentioned in the works of the renowned playwright, William Shakespeare. Furthermore, it is believed that both Anne Boleyn and Lady Jane Grey, two significant figures in English history, may have been administered their last rites within its sacred confines.
