St Margaret
The church, which is an early example of the Perpendicular architectural style, is a Grade II listed building and holds significant historical value. It is notably recognized as the birthplace of Alfred Lord Tennyson, a renowned Victorian poet. His father, George Clayton Tennyson, served as the rector of this church from 1806 until he passed away in 1831. This church, therefore, not only stands as a remarkable piece of architecture but also as a monument to the life and legacy of one of the Victorian era's most influential literary figures.
