St Michael
This exceptional church, dating back to the late 11th century, is a marvel of historical architecture. It houses a stunning stained glass window, crafted by the renowned artist Charles Kempe, located in the Saxon tower. The church is also home to a beautifully crafted marble tomb, which serves as the final resting place of Sir Christopher Wray. Wray was the Chief Justice of England during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and his tomb also includes his wife and children. This church is a testament to the rich history and artistic heritage of the period.
