St Mary of the Purification
The only remaining part of the medieval church from the 15th century is the west tower. The rest of the structure was constructed in two phases. The first phase was in 1739, led by Rhodes of Barlborough. The second phase took place a century later, in 1839, under the supervision of Colvin.
