St James the Less
Constructed during the rule of Edward III between 1327 and 1377, the chancel's walls are adorned with stone carvings that serve as a historical testament to this period. These carvings, located high up on the walls, depict Edward on the south side, gazing towards his wife, Queen Phillipa, who is represented on the north side. This artistic representation commemorates their reign and the era in which the chancel was built.
