St Peter
The current structure of the church hails from the Saxon era, although it's believed to have originally been a Celtic establishment. Its picturesque location is adjacent to the sea, offering breathtaking views across Morecambe Bay and towards the Cumbrian mountains. The church is also home to a wealth of significant historical artifacts, most notably the globally renowned Hog Back Stone, a gravestone from the Viking period.
