Guildford Castle
We are pleased to announce that the Great Tower has reopened following a comprehensive refurbishment. The renovation, which included the installation of new floors and a roof, has significantly improved the accessibility of the building for visitors. Inside the Tower, guests can now explore a model of the original castle as it stood around 1300, along with interpretation panels that chronicle the history of the castle from its inception to the present day. Additionally, a visitor platform has been added to the roof, providing breathtaking panoramic views of Guildford. We invite you to come and experience the enhanced Great Tower and its rich history.
