Habbot Bar
The Truman Pub, a former local watering hole, was closed and put up for auction in November 1994. In 2002, it was rebranded as Genevas, a keg beer establishment. Five years later, in 2007, the establishment underwent another transformation and was renamed SILVAR LINK. The old Genevas signage was still visible under the new banner. However, SILVAR LINK didn't last long and was closed in 2010. In 2015, the venue was reinvented once again, this time as Babylon Garden, a shisha bar. Unfortunately, this venture also came to an end, with the bar closing its doors by the end of 2019. After a period of dormancy, the establishment reopened in May 2021. It now operates as a bar and restaurant, offering keg beer and African cuisine. Despite the numerous changes over the years, the establishment continues to be a part of the local community, adapting to the changing tastes and preferences of its patrons.
