Ceddesfeld Hall
Constructed in 1791, the hall served as the local parsonage and is known for its resident ghost, fondly referred to as 'the Pickled Parson'. The hall is situated within expansive grounds, providing an idyllic setting for summer evenings. Although it operates as a private club, members of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) are warmly welcomed. The hall boasts a bar, a cozy lounge, and a spacious function room, all managed by volunteers from the Sedgefield Community Association. The hall serves as a hub for various groups, fostering a sense of community. A highlight of the hall's calendar is the annual beer festival, which takes place on the first weekend of July, offering a selection of reasonably priced ales.
