Yellow Monkey

The Yellow Monkey, formerly known as Doc's AleHouse and Doc's Symposium, holds the distinction of being Wigan's inaugural micropub. The establishment has been under the current ownership since 2020, and the proprietors extend a warm invitation to all patrons. The Yellow Monkey offers a diverse selection of beverages, including five cask ales, an array of European beers, ciders, and a variety of bottled beers. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Wigan town centre, the micropub is easily accessible, being just a brief stroll from both the bus and train stations. Additionally, it boasts outdoor seating that provides a delightful view of Mesnes Park.
