Blue Bell

The establishment known as the oldest pub in Peterborough boasts parts that date back to 1598. Initially, it was a farmhouse before being converted into a pub in 1810. The pub features a bar, a lounge, and a snug, a cozy and comfortable space, which is directly accessible from the lounge. The snug and the bar hold the distinction of being the oldest sections of the pub, while the lounge was added at a later date. Interestingly, the snug's wood panelling predates the pub itself, as it was originally located in the foyer. This historical establishment offers a unique blend of history and comfort, making it a must-visit location in Peterborough.
