Cromwell's
In October 2019, the establishment underwent a significant refurbishment and was subsequently renamed as Cromwell's Bar & Kitchen. This new name pays homage to the historical figure, Oliver Cromwell, who is believed to have lodged here during the English Civil War. This period coincided with the Battle of Marston Moor, which took place just a few miles away.
