Kings Arms
The Kings Arms, a charming establishment dating back to the early 1700s, was purchased by Clark's Brewery in 1989 and is currently leased to Ossett Brewery. This historic building, which was transformed into a public house in 1841, boasts three oak-panelled rooms illuminated by gas lighting. Additionally, it features a conservatory and beautifully maintained gardens at the back of the property. During the summer, patrons can take advantage of the pub's idyllic setting, enjoying a peaceful retreat on the surrounding acres of common grassland. The Kings Arms also hosts a popular Quiz Tuesday event, adding a touch of fun and friendly competition to the week. Please note that due to its relatively rural location, the pub may close earlier than usual on quieter evenings.
