The public bar, located on the left-hand side, features an impressive long settle, an inglenook fireplace, and a pair of handpumps mounted on the wall. These elements hint at the absence of a bar counter until recent times, with the current counter being a modern addition. The bar area is further enhanced by a stone floor and a grand stone fireplace, adding to the rustic charm of the place. The hall area is also noteworthy, housing what seems to be an antique bar-back, possibly relocated from another place, and a contemporary stone counter.
