Bede's Lea
This spacious, single-bar pub, established in the 1960s/70s, underwent its most recent refurbishment in 2019. The interior is thoughtfully divided by pillars, creating a public bar area at the front, equipped with a pool table and darts for entertainment. Further inside, guests can find cozy booths for a more intimate setting. The rear of the pub features a large, octagonal conservatory, adding a unique touch to the space. The pub offers two handpumps, serving Doom Bar and a rotating guest ale, catering to a variety of beer enthusiasts. Additionally, there is a generous patio at the back, half of which is covered, providing an outdoor space for patrons to enjoy. Looking forward, there are plans in 2022 to repurpose a currently unused carvery serving area into a snug, further enhancing the pub's cozy and inviting atmosphere. This establishment continues to evolve, while maintaining its classic charm, to provide an enjoyable experience for all its guests.
