King Charles I

This quaint, small pub was constructed during the inter-war period and initially featured a two-room interior, as suggested by the presence of two front doors. The pub boasts a well-preserved, curved bar counter from the same era, characterized by horizontal wooden strips, which adds to its vintage charm. However, the bar back fitting is not as old as the rest of the establishment, and the original lower shelving has been replaced with refrigeration units. The walls of the pub are adorned with inter-war panelling up to picture frame height, further enhancing its historic appeal. Despite some modern updates, the pub retains much of its original character and charm from the inter-war years.
