This establishment was built to replace a previous pub of the same name that was unfortunately demolished. The pub boasts a post-war domestic-style architecture, featuring two distinct bars and a modernized interior design. Despite its contemporary decor, the pub retains a nostalgic charm, with numerous old photographs showcasing local scenes adorning its walls. The pub offers a variety of entertainment options for its patrons. You can catch the latest sports events on Sky TV or enjoy live music performances that are held occasionally. For those who love to sing, there's a weekly karaoke night. However, please note that the pub does not serve food. But, in keeping with tradition, complimentary roast potatoes are offered at the bar every Sunday lunchtime. It's important to mention that the pub, unfortunately, no longer serves real ale. Despite this, it continues to be a beloved local spot, offering a warm and friendly atmosphere for both regulars and newcomers alike.
