This storefront belonged to H.W Hale, a pastry chef and caterer of yesteryears. However, the business was not without its share of controversy. Mr. Hale had run afoul of the local council due to his illicit activities of smuggling cider from Somerset for sale through his bakery. Today, the location houses a quaint pub, which despite its modest size, is a delightful find for those who stumble upon it. The pub also offers live sports viewing for its patrons.
