Byron's Rest
Previously a sewing shop, this establishment was transformed into a micro-pub and officially opened its doors on February 3rd, 2018. Despite its narrow structure, the pub is quite expansive, cleverly designed to give the impression of distinct drinking zones. In 2019, a cozy 'snug' was introduced near the entrance, and a 'secret garden' was developed at the back, providing a peaceful haven in the bustling center of Hucknall. The pub has been recognized for its excellence, winning the Nottingham 2023 Cider Pub of the Year award and coming in as a close second in the Nottingham 2023 Pub of the Year competition.
