Since February 2020, the establishment has been under new management. This micro pub, which first opened its doors in July 2015, has been recognized as the Liverpool CAMRA Pub of the Year for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018. The pub is known for its unique selection of beers, sourced from small breweries across the country, making it an ideal spot for beer enthusiasts from the suburbs looking for a different brew to try. The pub offers a varying selection of beers throughout the week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, patrons can choose from four different beers, with an additional option available on Thursdays. The selection expands to seven beers from Friday onwards. In addition to beer, the pub also serves cider and perry, dispensed directly from taps connected to the cellar.
