Lawns Hotel
The Lawns Hotel, originally named The Lawn, has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century. Constructed between 1871 and 1879, it was initially a family home built by Ralph Foreman, a member of the Foreman family who resided in Chellaston for over two centuries. The site also served the community as a bakery at one point in time. In October 2009, the current proprietors acquired The Lawns and have since undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment of the entire building, breathing new life into this historic property.
