Owa the Road

Located in the historic Co-op building, directly across from the Sun Inn, this unique micropub offers a quiet, distraction-free environment with no music or television. The establishment features four hand pumps serving a rotating selection of beers, with at least two typically being traditional beers from the wood. The proprietor, Dave Cook, is actively collaborating with various breweries to introduce beers that are not commonly available in wooden casks. In addition to the real ales, the micropub also offers authentic ciders sourced from boxes. For those who prefer other beverages, there is an extensive selection of gins, wines, and soft drinks. To complement the drinks, a variety of bar snacks are also available. This micropub is a haven for those who appreciate a peaceful ambiance and a diverse range of quality beverages.
