Located in a historic 19th-century Thameside tea warehouse, the pub was established in the early 1970s. The entrance to this unique establishment is through a spiral staircase leading to a loft-style bar and restaurant. The interior design features wooden floorboards, full-height windows, and exposed brickwork, all contributing to a charming and rustic ambiance. The pub offers spectacular views of the river, adding to its appeal. The menu at this pub is highlighted by fresh stone-baked pizzas, a specialty that has become a favorite among patrons. In addition, traditional pub classics and a variety of burgers are also available, catering to a wide range of tastes. In July 2018, the pub underwent a change in management and was taken over by Shepherd Neame. Since then, it has reopened and continues to serve its customers in its unique and historic setting.
