Vernon Cottage Tavern

The charming, heavily thatched building at the gateway to the Old Village is a sight to behold. It is surrounded by two stunning gardens, located at the front and side of the property. The main garden is equipped with a children's play area, making it an ideal spot for families. Inside the building, you'll find two warm and inviting rooms, complete with tables and a single bar. While the Tavern doesn't have its own parking facility, it is conveniently situated near a large Pay and Display parking area, which can accommodate both cars and coaches. Please note that the Tavern is closed from the end of October until Easter. In addition to its other features, the building now also houses the Shanklin Tourist Office. This makes it an even more valuable resource for visitors, providing them with easy access to local information and services.
