The traditional, spacious local pub, situated just off the high street on the corner of Stocks Lane and near the Tesco Express, has recently undergone a transformation. After a brief period of closure for refurbishment, the pub reopened its doors in December 2018 under the stewardship of a new leaseholder. The pub now offers meal service until 6pm every day, catering to a variety of tastes. In addition to its regular offerings, the pub has expanded its facilities to include a children's room, making it a family-friendly destination. For those looking to enjoy the outdoors, there is also an outside seating area available. For special events, a function room is available for hire, providing a versatile space for any occasion. Since November 2019, the pub has been under new management, bringing a fresh approach and renewed energy to the establishment. As part of its weekly entertainment lineup, the pub hosts a karaoke night every Friday, offering patrons a chance to showcase their singing talents. Additionally, live music performances are held every Saturday and occasionally on Friday evenings, adding to the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the pub.
