Swallow
After a brief period of rebranding, the pub has returned to its original name that it held for 22 years, following a two-year stint as the G Spot in August 2012 and subsequently the Compass Inn in April 2013. The pub offers a variety of bottled ales for patrons to enjoy, and also features cask ale, particularly the popular Tribute, on a regular basis. The pub also provides entertainment in the form of darts and pool, with the added bonus of a free pool table available every Wednesday. It prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive space, extending its hospitality to both dogs and children. Additionally, the pub may extend its operating hours beyond those listed, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings, to accommodate the weekend crowd. The pub has a rich history in Plymouth, being recognized as the top venue for the local LGBT community.
