Yates
Situated across from the bustling Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens, this pub, currently known as Yates, offers a spacious L-shaped room and bar. As of the latest visit in December 2019, it did not serve real ale. However, it provides a wide range of meals from 9 am to 9 pm daily, including breakfast options available until noon. Every Friday night, the pub livens up with DJ music. The establishment, which dates back to the 1980s, has undergone several name changes over the years, including Inn on the Park and Rosie Malones, before finally adopting the name Yates in 1999.
