Always Sunday Town House
The King William, a quaint café/restaurant, was nestled in a small corner house. It was established around 1830 and featured an upstairs restaurant and two bar areas on the ground floor, divided by a central servery. This establishment was well-maintained and retained its original charm until September 2020. At this time, new proprietors, 'Always Sunday' from Walcot St, took over. They implemented significant changes, including a complete interior makeover and a name change. In an effort to create more space, they also removed the cask ale and the last remaining handpump. This marked a significant shift in the establishment's character and offerings.
