In May 2021, The Parker Brewery of Banks introduced a new Micro Pub to the Crossens area, following a delay due to the 2020/2021 pandemic. This new establishment is a welcome addition to the locale, which has been devoid of pubs for several years following the closure of the nearby Plough. The Micro Pub, which is a sibling establishment to another in the Birkdale area of the town, is situated in a building that was formerly a computer repair shop. The interior of the Micro Pub has been thoughtfully furnished to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It features a blend of high tables and chairs, as well as standard height seating options. Additionally, patrons can enjoy outdoor seating with a bench that has been placed outside the pub. The walls are adorned with local pictures of the Crossens area, adding a touch of local charm and history to the establishment. This new Micro Pub is not just a place to enjoy a drink, but also a space that celebrates and contributes to the community spirit of the area.
