Old Bank
Opened in July 2021, the aptly named "The Bank" is a cocktail lounge that has taken residence in a former bank building. As expected, the establishment's drink offerings are heavily skewed towards cocktails, although Camden Pale Ale is also available for beer enthusiasts, albeit at a premium price. The interior of the lounge is a single room, featuring a curved wall that faces Market Street. The décor is a blend of classic and contemporary, with a wooden floor, dark wood and red leatherette seating. The color scheme is a tasteful mix of blue and cream, adding to the overall ambiance of the place. Interestingly, the alcove that faces King Street is occupied by a barber's shop, adding a unique twist to the overall experience of visiting "The Bank". This cocktail lounge is not just a place to enjoy a drink, but also a testament to the creative repurposing of a historic building.
