Sheriff of Tamworth
Situated on the ground floor of a majestic Grade II-listed building, which dates back to approximately 1690, is a quaint two-room bar. The bar room is characterized by a robust wooden bar, which is uniquely supported by hogshead casks. The larger room, on the other hand, features rustic wooden tables accompanied by tractor-seat stools and several hogshead tables, adding to the bar's distinctive charm. The bar's name pays homage to a previous inhabitant of the building, who held the esteemed position of Sheriff of Warwickshire during the time Tamworth was part of that county. Patrons of the bar can enjoy up to three rotating ales, as well as a selection of approximately 25 bottled Belgian beers. This establishment offers a unique blend of history, character, and a diverse beer selection, promising a memorable experience for all who visit.
