The micropub, managed by the same team that operates the Pele Tower in Corbridge, officially opened its doors on November 7, 2019. The establishment, which was previously a fast food outlet, features a large shop-front window and has been warmly received by local patrons, despite initial objections from some community members. The pub's interior design offers a cozy, living room-like ambiance with two separate rooms for patrons to enjoy. Adding to its unique charm, the tables are adorned with circus-themed imagery. The pub also includes unisex restroom facilities, catering to all customers. In terms of food offerings, the micropub serves up traditional pub snacks and a hearty pie and mash menu from Monday to Saturday. The opening night saw a large turnout of local drinkers, indicating the micropub's promising start and potential to become a new favorite spot for the community.
