Green Man Hotel
The current community pub, nestled atop a steep hill, is a reconstruction of the original establishment that unfortunately burned down in 1906. This site has been home to a public house since 1722, and was famously known as the Barley Mow in 1751. The pub's interior is adorned with an abundance of wood panelling, adding to its rustic charm. A brick conservatory provides a pathway to the garden, which offers stunning, panoramic views of the surrounding area. The pub occasionally hosts quizzes and live music, although its event schedule is largely influenced by the happenings at nearby Wembley Stadium. Despite the changes over the centuries, the pub continues to serve as a beloved gathering spot for the local community.
