Collins Arms
The oldest pub in Redruth, established in 1743 as a coaching inn, has ceased its regular sale of real ale. This historic establishment, discreetly located at the upper end of the town centre beyond Fore St, remains a welcoming and unassuming local spot for patrons. The pub features two distinct areas for customers to enjoy their drinks. The main bar area is complemented by a slightly elevated secondary space, which offers additional seating and a pool table for guests' entertainment. In the evenings, the pub serves bar meals, colloquially referred to as 'pub grub'. Additionally, every Tuesday, the pub hosts a quiz night, adding an element of fun and competition to the traditional pub experience. Despite the change in its ale offering, the pub continues to maintain its charm and appeal as a friendly local watering hole.
