Bear
The Shoulder of Mutton, originally a simple pub situated by the riverside, underwent significant expansion in 1673. This was part of a development plan for the Avon navigation orchestrated by Sir John Clopton. Today, the Bear Freehouse, which was once a standalone establishment, has been incorporated into the Swans Nest hotel. It is conveniently located adjacent to the Bistrot Pierre restaurant. The hotel and restaurant offer a variety of dining options, including lunch and evening meals. Additionally, they provide an outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy their meals in a pleasant, open-air setting.
