The Tollemache Arms

Robinson's acquired The Tolley, a local favorite, in 2008 and after a complete refurbishment, it was re-opened on June 20, 2009. The pub's history dates back to the 1840 Tithe Map, which shows it situated on land owned by John Tollemache, with Joseph Garner as the tenant. Although it's not a listed building, it's believed that the original structure was built in the 17th century and began its operations as an inn in 1776. The pub's former barn has been beautifully renovated into a bar and restaurant, featuring a baby grand piano and original fireplaces, adding a touch of historic charm to the modern establishment.
