Kings Head
Located in a prime corner spot on the main Swaledale road, this quaint village pub boasts a single-room bar, elegantly designed with stone flagged accents. The interior is highlighted by a striking stone fireplace that commands attention and adds to the pub's rustic charm. In April 2020, the pub was acquired by a community benefit society, much to the delight of the local community. After a brief period of closure, the pub reopened its doors in the summer of 2020. Currently, the pub operates from Wednesday to Sunday, although the opening hours may fluctuate. Therefore, it is recommended to get in touch prior to your visit to confirm the timings.
