Shipmans
This historic, elongated structure, dating back to the 1700s, features two entrances at opposite ends. After an extended period of closure, it was reopened in 2022 by the McManus Pub Co., who meticulously refurbished it to an exceptional standard. The ground floor houses a bar, complete with comfortable banquette seating in the front snug area and tables towards the back, where a cozy wood fire adds to the ambiance. The establishment also boasts two dining rooms on the upper floor. Patrons can enjoy a selection of ale, sourced from across the country.
