It's a popular spot that can get quite busy at times. The pub, which was originally a boat building site, is now a proud supporter of the local gig club. An interesting feature to note is the old railway mileage post situated outside the establishment. During the spring and summer seasons, patrons can enjoy an additional St Austell beer that is occasionally on offer. The pub also houses the Chartroom Restaurant, an upper deck dining area that provides stunning views over the harbour.
