Star Inn
The property, originally a farmhouse, was purchased by William Mortimore in 1862 with the intention of promoting and selling his own beers. Mortimore was a brewery owner in Kingskerswell. After undergoing a complete renovation, the establishment reopened on May 11, 2017, under new management. The ownership changed again in 2020. To encourage patronage, the establishment offers a 50p discount on cask ales every Monday and Tuesday. Additionally, they host a monthly Bike Night on Wednesdays during the summer season. The profits from this event are donated to charity. This establishment has a rich history and continues to serve its community with quality beverages and engaging events.
