Situated in close proximity to the Millfield Metro, there is a local pub that boasts a rich history. The establishment, which currently stands, was inaugurated in 1881 under the name "The Beehive". In the 1960s, the pub underwent a name change and became known as "The Beefeater". Today, it operates under a different name. A noteworthy feature of this pub is the intricately carved beehive that adorns the peak, just beneath the roof. This distinctive detail serves as a nod to its original identity and adds to the charm of the building.
