The establishment, initially known as the Exchange and dating back to around 1860, shares its historical roots with the neighboring Corn Exchange. This single-room city center venue is renowned for its vibrant ambiance and is adorned with numerous St George's flags. It was once an Offiler's pub, later transitioning to Bass, but it no longer offers real ale. The venue also features a pool table at the rear of the room for patrons' enjoyment.
