Alice Hawthorn
The Alice, formerly known as the Bluebell Inn, has been serving as a pub since 1787. In 2013, it was purchased by Kate and Richard Harpin, who were driven by their desire to transform it into a remarkable small pub and ensure its longevity. The Alice is located in the scenic village of Nun Monkton, where it overlooks the lush village green. The pub is renowned for its high-quality food, which is prepared using locally sourced produce. Additionally, it offers local cask ales from Yorkshire Heart, a brewery situated just outside the village.
