The Admiral Duncan, a historic establishment dating back to the late 18th century, has evolved over time to accommodate changing tastes and cultures. Today, it is divided into two distinct sections, each offering a unique experience. The right half of the pub has been transformed into a Bangladeshi restaurant, managed independently, providing patrons with a taste of South Asian cuisine. Meanwhile, the left half of the establishment continues to operate as a traditional bar and lounge, maintaining the classic pub atmosphere. The Admiral Duncan was once a part of the extensive local estate of the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery, adding to its rich history.
