Old Ship Inn
The bar area of the pub, originally named The Prince of Wales, boasts a rustic charm with its stone-flagged flooring and wood-panelled walls. The establishment was constructed using timber from the historic 1858 ship of the line, the HMS Donegal, adding a unique touch to its overall design. However, as of June 2023, the pub has ceased the availability of cask ale. Despite this change, it's worth noting that the pub has been recognized for its excellence in the past, having been awarded the title of 'Pub of the Year' in 2010.
