Porters Ale House
The pub, originally known as the Cross Keys, is a slender, multi-room establishment situated adjacent to the former St. Mary's School. The school's Victorian-era and older structures remain intact to this day. This location holds historical significance as it is where Michael Hardman MBE, a co-founder of CAMRA, started his education. Hardman was also a member of the rugby league team that clinched the 1957 Warrington primary schools championship. However, it should be noted that the pub does not serve Real Ale.
